10 Things I Hate/Love About You...

I guess I should make it clear that the "you" I'm talking about here isn't directed at anybody in particular. I'm definitely not talking to you, baby Trey. And I'm not talking to my hubs either, although he is the one that did this to me. . . I'm talking to this thing they call PREGNANCY. . .

10 Things I Hate About You:

*Side note: most of these hates really are coming from just the last few weeks. Just sayin.

-I hate the way you've turned me into a GRUMP!
-I hate that you make me HOT, HOT, HOT all the time. . . by the way, I'm scared to see our a/c bill this month.
-I hate the way you make my back hurt so bad, and are making me so so uncomfortable.
-I hate the way I'm never not tired. Maybe it's because you don't let me sleep.
-I hate that I visit the bathroom over 30 times a day. . . 10 of those times being during the night.
-I hate that I get such nasty reflux. . . even after drinking water.
-I hate getting on the scale and seeing just how nicely I'm fattening up.
-I hate that I get completely out of breath from doing such simple things.
-I hate when I forget about this huge belly sticking out from me and hit it on things.
-I hate that you've been "high risk," and that I have been on "moderate bed rest" since week 15.

10 Things I LOVE About You:

-I LOVE what you've done to my husband.
-I LOVE planning, preparing, and praying for you.
-I LOVE that I get to be the one performing a miracle every single day.
-I LOVE that it's "okay" for me to eat whenever and whatever the heck I want.
-I LOVE that I get to look down and see my little guy move.
-I LOVE going to see the Dr and hearing the heartbeat or seeing the ultrasound.
-I LOVE that Treagan always seems to move for mommy at all the right times. . . Just when I start to worry about something, it's like he knows that he's gotta let me know he's okay.
-I LOVE the way the whole experience has made me feel so much more Spiritual.
-I LOVE that you give me an excuse to eat icecream, take bubble baths, and get back rubs. . . All of my favorite things.
-I LOVE that you've kinda made me feel like a VIP everywhere I go.

I know that I've been super good at accentuating the negative side of pregnancy lately. But seriously, when I sit here and think quietely to myself, I really do feel like I could add lots more to the I LOVE list. I have enjoyed being pregnant. Yes I am looking forward to running and biking, going on vacations, and wearing pants without a stretchy waistband, but I just know that little Treagan O Behunin is going to make this all well worth it. I love seeing the look on Kelly's face when he puts his hand on my belly and talks to his son. Feeling the baby's kicks and movements is beyond incredible. All of the metaphors about having a stomach full of goldfish and riding rollercoasters don't even come close to explaining what the jabs made by this human being that is growing within my own body feel like. I already knew that the human body was an amazing thing, but this whole experience has definitely reaffirmed my faith in my wonderful Father in Heaven. The fact that MY body can nurture a whole life, a little guy with feelings and thoughts of his own is inspiring. . . Even amid my vain worries about getting stretch marks, having my thighs double in size, and getting disturbingly large baby feeders. Still, even with all these things, PREGNANCY is a beautiful experience and I can honestly say I'd do it again. Hopefully I will do it again, just not for another couple years . . . And I haven't even had the good part yet. . .

The Best Two Years...

Walkin up to Market Street-Anniversary #2!!!

L.O.V.E.

Father's Day card

Kell's first Father's Day present

I can't believe Kellster and I have been married for 2 years already. When I think back to our actual wedding day and all the planning and stuff, it seems like it was just yesterday. But I can hardly remember having any other life so it also kinda seems like its always been this way. Anwyay, grateful to say we are both still SO HAPPY! It's been an amazing 2 years. To celebrate the ol anniversary Kell took me to din at Market Street Grill. We had so much fun. He got me a gift certificate for a pedicure for right before I have little baby, and he also got me cleaning ladies!!! WOOT WOOT! So I get to have our house spick n span the week before baby gets here, and I won't even have to be the one doing it. I thought that was such a thougtful gift cuz he knows how nutso I am about having a clean house. And the gift I gave him was a little book of the last two years that I had made. Anyway, it was such a fun night! The whole weekend was a blast.... Cuz then Saturday was the Strawberry Days Rodeo here in PG. I of course didn't get any pics, dang it. But Penny, Jared, and the crew came down for that. We decided it only makes sense that we spend our anniversery with them. Since last year for our one year we were all bunked up in a cabin for our raft trip in Jackson. Haha. It was perfect. Hopefully next year I won't be with child and we'll get to go rafting again. And then Sundee was Papa's Day. Kelly's first Father's Day. We planted him a tree in our backyard to replace the one that didn't make it from last year. I think he loved it. Oh and of course he got his favorite breakfast in bed. And then we went to my mama's for some din, and then it was off to see my dad for dessert and a little Father's Day visit at grandma's. It was just such a fun weekend! One of those times where you stop and look closely at your hubs and your just overwhelmed with love and appreciation at how sweet life really is! YAY! Well, we've got our big ultrasound tomorrow to check things out with Miss Placenta. We're really praying that things look good. I'm sure I'll post about it either way. Please bless . . . . .

Showers 2 and 3...

Oh how sad am I that I didn't get any pics from either of these showers!!! I totally took my camera, but must have gotten too wrapped up in the fun to give it another thought. Anyway, our 2nd shower was thrown by my mom's friends from the old ward I grew up in. Good old Cottonwood 13th. They were so amazing to do this for us since none of us are even in that ward anymore. It was so fun to see so many old friends that I grew up with though and they definitely spoiled us. BIG TIME. Thank you everybody so so much!
The 3rd shower was done by my bestest besties in the world. The USU girls. We had it at Charlsie and Liz's house. They did such a good job. Lots of catching up, yummy food, and tons of laughs. It actually ended up being a little shower/sleepover. SO. MUCH. FUN. And Treagan got so many cute things, I just can't wait to use all this good stuff. We are so blessed. Thank you so much my girls, I love all of you so much!

Baby Shower Number ONE!!!

Baby Trey and I had our first baby shower today! It was a BLAST! My cute ward/neighborhood friends Jen Skipper and Nicole Anderson put it on for us. It was actually a joint shower for Nicole and I. She's due with twins a few weeks after us, so fun! Thank you so much to everyone that came! The food, the decorations, and of course the company was awesome. Treagan is one loved baby boy already! Here's a few pics-

Opening presents.... YAY!

You can't really tell because it's a bad pic, but Jennie made this banner with

Treagan's name on it. It was adorable!

PREGO!!!

Thanks for everything Jen!!! You're the best!

I just realized that I didn't get a pic with my Mama!! She was so cute to come down here for the shower. She was the one taking all the pics but I wish I'd have gotten one with her!!
