Mr. Teefer. . .

Well our sweet little gummy bear is officially sprouting teeth!  I wondered if they'd ever come, because everyday I'd rub my finger along his bottom gums checking for a little somethin somethin only to find, well nothing.  So the other night I left Trey with Daddy for a bit and when I got home Dad had some news for me!  He's got a tooth coming in!!!  What?  No way.  I just checked this morning.  So I looked again.  Nothing.  I thought Kelly was smokin.  But then he showed me what he was talking about and Treagan's big tooth on top was coming in!  Leave it to our child to go against the norm and get his tops before his bottoms.  Silly boy.  So first came the top right.  Then a couple days later the top left.  And now the bottom two are swollen.  So I'm afraid he's gonna be a bear for the next little while because man that's gotta hurt!  Poor baby.  But so far he's been a trooper.  We love you Treagan O!

St. G. . .

Too bad T won't keep hats on cuz the kid looks adorable in them!
At his first Buffet. . . Let's just say I think he has Daddy's appetite!  Haha.
Our fam took our first little vacation together this weekend down to St. George, and we had the best time!  Kelly took Monday off so we could spend some time together as a family.  Trey was a champ!  He slept great, ate great, and was one happy camper the whole time luckily!  Well, maybe not the whole time. . .  he got a little sick of the long car ride, but besides that he loved every minute.  We couldn't stop snapping pics of this photogenic little guy, so I'm warning anyone who is looking at this, that there's gonna be a ton of pics.

Our hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool, and that's where we spent most of our time.  Trey loved the water!  Every time we walked by the pool when we weren't swimming, he would kick his legs and squeal.
We got this floaty for the pool, and I was actually surprised by how much he loved chillin in it!
He is so big these days.
I'm in love with his wrinkley nose.
Sharing his new water toy with his mama.
Swimming like a dolphin with Daddy.
If that's not a happy Papa I don't know what is...
I'm always lovin on him.
Yep, Trey is totally that kid that poops in the pool.  Good thing he was rockin the swim diaper.
Trey's fave place to be. . . On Daddy's shoulders.
We also went on lots of walks and spent part of our day hiking. . .  It was so pretty!  And so HOT!

This kid has suddenly become a Mama's boy.  And I am totally okay with it.
95 DEGREES in APRIL!!!
It was fun just hangin out and relaxin in the hotel together. . .
The heart shaped tub isn't quite as romantic with this crazy monkey around.
Can I have another tubby?
Look at those short legs and the big diaper bum in those jammies!  HA!
Getting lathered with sunscreen
We had to build a fort around the pack n play so he couldn't see us, but he seriously slept great. . .
On Sunday we took a little stroll around the temple. . . So pretty.
Dad teaching Trey how to play Defense
Picked a flower for Mama.
Never loved anything more.
Yup, I am kissing his face AGAIN.
Pretty flowers
Anyway, you get the idea.  We had a great time with our little fam!  Can't wait to go back.  Thanks Kellster and T Dawg for the memories!  And for my mama watching our little puppy while we were gone!

His Room

So about 9ish months ago I was running around like a crazy person with major OCD trying to get everything ready for the arrival of my little bundle.  I kind of have always been a bit of a perfectionist (thanks mom), but when the whole "nesting instincts" thing hit me somewhere in the 3rd trimester, I turned into a little bit of a weirdo.  I suddenly had all sorts of ideas and visions, and actually attempted to be a crafty person.  I found myself just standing in the middle of Treagan's room 5-10 times a day just imagining what it'd be like to actually have a baby there.  I straightened and restraightened every little thing in there.  I folded and refolded every little piece of clothing until it was perfect!  I vacumed and dusted and lysoled.  Yup, all while I was supposed to be on "moderate bed rest."  Bad Lindsay.  But seriously, I wanted everything to be just right for my little guy!  Like he cared right?  Anyway, moral of this whole story is that today while I was putting new sheets on Trey's bed I found myself laughing as saw I spit up on the side of his crib and binkies thrown everywhere because his little room is no longer "perfect."  There's milk sprayed on the lazy boy, and baby poop on the rug. . . But, it's still perfect to me.  Because to me, this boy is perfect.  Another thing I realized this morning was that I never posted pics of his cute little nursery!  I planned on doing it before he came while it was still completely sterile and organized, but never got around to it.  So I snapped a couple pics of it, just so I can someday show him that even though he was completely oblivious to it, he did have a cute room to come home to!

And this is what makes this room so perfect!!!
The pictures aren't very good because while I was taking them I was trying to keep Trey from knocking over the humidifier or hitting his head on the dresser that he was climbing on.  But they will work.  I love the way his little room turned out.  It's so Treagan.

Crazy Baby

My little teeny tiny 6 lbs. 5 oz. baby is officially no longer teeny tiny!  He is more than 3 times the size he was 8 months ago and is full on mobile!  AND, he is crawling everywhere, does not sit still, and wants to climb up on everything.  He just made friends with the stairs this week and can climb the entire flight!  He whines while he crawls because he wants somebody to grab his hands so he can walk.  Oh boy.  We are in for it!  Even though this kind of makes mommy's and daddy's life a little more complicated, we love it!  It's so cute to watch him explore, and to see how proud he is of all of his new accomplishments!  He is 100% boy.
Climbing the stairs. . .So fast he's a blur!
Just climbing up the wall
Climbing up the couch
Trying to climb into the laundry basket
This is how we keep him entertained.
He likes to feed himself
All lathered with sunscreen and ready to go to the zoo!!!
Fussing at the zoo because he wants to walk around like all the other big kids
Daddy showing Trey the giraffes
Nothing better than ice cream and the zoo
YAY for getting a season pass to the zoo!  We will be back soon!
