Children

Not sure who loves bath time more. . .

I loved Neil L Anderson's talk from conference last month. It really touched my little heart. . . probably mostly because I had just had a baby 2 months before, but it totally related to my life and my new feelings toward my sweet child. Anyway, I just keep thinking about words from his talk when I look at my little baby. "I testify of the great blessing of children and of the happiness they will bring us in this life and in the eternities." I concur. Seriously this kid has brought me joy I didn't ever know possible.

It's funny how being a parent really does make you find happiness in the simple things. Like. . . I am SO happy when he poops. Weird I know. But it makes me so happy when he grunts and grunts and finally gets it out cuz I know his tummy feels better. And I'm so happy when I look at him in his peaceful sleep. Or when he's just so excited to eat or take a bath. I'm so happy when he coos and laughs. It makes me happy when he's fussing and then smiles when he sees me. SO happy when he is happy. He is just pure joy.

Happy 3 Months Baby Trey!!!

3 months old! 12 lbs. 13 oz.

Little chunk. . . I mean, hunk.

Treagan and Cannon playing on Grammy's bed.

We got these shirts for them when we were in Maui last February. Treagan was about the size of a blueberry at that point and Cannon was due any day. It's just crazy how fast time is flying! They looked as cute as we hoped they would in their matching shirts!

This is his face every night at about 7:30. Wants to go to bathe,
eat, and go to bed so bad!

I can't believe that Treagan is 3 months old today. He is growing like a mad man, and I swear he changes with each passing day. Even though I miss my teeny tiny baby, I am loving everything that comes with each stage. When I go to his room in the morning to get him out of his crib, the smile he gives me every morning just melts me! Lucky for us, he's a pretty good little sleeper. He goes down at about 8:30 every night, gets up once to eat sometime around 3 or 4, and then goes right back down til about 6 or 7. I really love it when he'll go til 7. But either way, he's one happy baby in the morning! It makes having to wake up a lot better for me that's for sure. My mom helped us buy him a little play mat (his first toy) and he LOVES it. He talks to the singing star, kicks his crazy little legs, and bats at all the hanging toys with his arms. It's precious. Well I hate to say it. . . but my maternity leave ends tomorrow. AGH. I feel so blessed that I have been able to stay home for the last few months to be with Treagan. I'm grateful for Kelly and for his hardwork to even make it possible. And he is going to continue to work extra hard for us so Mommy only has to go back to work two days a week. PHEW! We are also very grateful for Grammy (my mom) for being willing to help watch Trey so I can work. We really are so blessed. I know I am going to have a little bit of a rough time leaving Trey since I haven't really left him for more than a couple hours since I met him! But I know it will be good for all of us. He's such a blessing in my life. I feel so overwhelmingly blessed that I get to be his Mother. Thanks for being our bestest little buddy T.O. We just love every little thing about you. . .

It Was a Happy Halloween

Football Costume

We had such a fun weekend. For the first time in my life I didn't dress up for Halloween. I guess it's about time I grow up eh? But it's crazy how much more exciting holidays are with a little one. We had a little Halloween party at our house on Saturday with my bro and sis in law, and a bunch of friends. It was a good time. . . all the way up until the boys somehow convinced us to watch Paranormal Activity. Ugh. We were all so freaked out. We decided that the guys owe us at least 10 chick flicks for that. We had tons of fun though with the crew, we always do. Then Sunday we got together with my fam, which was so fun because Treagan got to play with his cousin, Cannon. I'll post those pics later. And then for Halloween we just stayed in and handed out candy to all the cute little trick or treaters since the baby goes down at about 8. It was a very Happy Halloween! Treagan and Holly were both very good sports in their cute costumes. We just love our little babies.

Baby Trey's first Halloween

Daddy did such a good job helping them carve their pumpkins.

Our little Devil and Angel.

The Angel kissing the Devil.

Best Friends. . .

Trying to be so good, but I don't think he loved wearing his costume!
