The DD

Good ol Alpine Peds got down and dirty at the Dirty Dash this last weekend.  It was seriously so much fun!  My mom and little sis came along for the fun and I am so glad they did!  I am totally so grateful to work with such cool people, and have the greatest mom and sister ever.  I'm not gonna lie. . .  I was a wee bit nervous about running a 5 and a 1/2 mile obstacle course since I am oh so outta shape right now, but it actually wasn't bad at all!  It was ALL fun.  Our team was Alpine Pediatric's Dirty Diapers.  I think everyone that came had a blast, and we are already talking about doing the next one in September.  Good times fa sho!  Pretty sure the shower I took when I got home was the best shower of my life (next to the one I took the day I got home from being in Ghana).  Boo Yeah Dirty Diapers.  You did indeed "have the runs."
Those aren't jock straps, they are diapers.
Me and Sister.
The Dirty Diapers about to get reeeeeal dirtay!
Just waiting for our call time.
We decided the diapers were cooler on our heads.
Bring on the mud bath!
First obstacle.
Mama and Allie- just got past over-under.
Run Dirty Diapers, RUN!
Dirty girls.
The BEST part of the whole race!  The ginormous slip n slide!
And we are donezo.  SO MUCH FUN!  So glad my mama and sista joined our team!

Yikes.

Apparently he's not that stoked to be 10 months.
Currently tipping the scales at 19 lbs. 11 oz.
That's as good as we're going to get for 10 months.  Man, it's getting hard
to get him to chill long enough to snap a decent pic.
Yep, it's already that time of the month again.  The time where I realize it's the 2nd day of the month and our baby has become yet another month older!  I can hardly stand the thought that he is getting so close to his first birthday already.  Gosh, we are loving this stage with him though!  He is seriously, SO.MUCH.FUN.  Trey's learning all sorts of new tricks these days, and he is always very eager to show off for anyone who will watch.  He likes everyone to know how he can wave, clap, talk, squeal, sign "more," dance, climb the couch, and copy pretty much anything we do.
Here he is showin off the wave. . .
He loves playing tug of war with Holly.
We LOVE Chick-fil-A!!!
Yep, into EVERYTHING.
EVERYTHING.
He loves it when we give him a piece of fruit to eat all by himself.
Still loves his bink.
Teago and Canno. . . AKA- Beethoven and Mozart
He loves to play hide and seek with Daddy, loves dropping things and watching Mommy pick it up, and his favorite game is throwing the remote on the ledge behind the couch and then climbing the couch to fetch it.
Here he is with Grandpa, trying to catch a baby chicken.
Such a ladies' man.  He's after the cougars- Both of his sweet Great Grandma's.
And 'great' they are!
It's been a little bit of a bummer this month.  Trey started out the month with yet another stomach bug.  GRRRR.  Luckily it didn't get near as violent as the last one, but he was still pretty icky there for about a week.  We had about a day or two where he was feeling good, and then he came down with an awful cold.  We all got that one.  So not fun.  I am hoping that those bugs were our last for the season now that we can be outside more.  I'm just so thankful that we are all back to our good health.
Chick Magnet again.  Hangin on the park with Ma and work friends.
First visit to Seven Peaks!
Hot man in a swim suit, holding a cute baby. . . So attractive :0
Playing at the splash pad with Cannon and Gentry!
I left totally soaked.  This will be one nice thing about him being able to walk on his own.
Pretty sure he could stay in the park's swing all day long.

The little fishies in their swim diapers!
Skinny-dippin.
And then. . . He gets sick.
And he's SO sad.
And so cuddly.
I discovered that he totally loves my green smoothie protein shakes though!
It's the only way I can sneak him his veggies.
As you can see, we still managed to have plenty of fun this month in between being layed up.  I just love this weather, and love having a little buddy to do so many fun things with.  Treagan is such a good little guy, and we love him so much.  Happy 10 months big fella!  You're our everything.
Treagan's new best friend, Lenny.

"Mama"

The primary song "Love is Spoken Here" totally reminds me of my mom.  I honestly remember getting all teary-eyed in primary every time we'd sing that, and the song "Families Can Be Together Forever" because I remember loving my mom so much. . .   "I see my mother kneeling with our family each day.  I hear the words she whispers as she bows her head to pray.  Her plea to the Father quiets all my fears.  And I am thankful, Love is Spoken Here."

"There is no role in life more essential and more eternal than that of motherhood.”
Not just the best mom, but the best Grammy too.
“A mother’s nurturing love arouses in children, from their earliest days on earth, an awakening of the memories of love and goodness they experienced in their pre-mortal existence.  Because our mothers love us, we learn, or more accurately remember, that God also loves us.”
Elder M. Russell Ballard

"As a mother you have been given divine instincts to help you sense your child’s special talents and unique capacities,” Elder Scott.
I've definitely felt help from a divine Heavenly Father as I'm learning how to be a mom to this boy.

Elder Holland says, “May I say to mothers collectively, in the name of the Lord, you are magnificent. You are doing terrifically well. The very fact that you have been given such a responsibility is everlasting evidence of the trust your Father in Heaven has in you.”
A visit from Grammy B
With this being my first Mother's Day as a Mother myself, it is meaning more to me this year than it probably ever has.  I mean, I've always loved Mother's Day because well, I LOVE MY MOM.  I always looked forward to having a day dedicated just to her.  It was the ONE day of the whole year that I think she got to relax, if even for just a few minutes while we all scurried to serve her.  But this year as Mother's Day approaches and I think about my own Mom, I feel more blessed than ever because I finally understand the love she has for me and the sacrifice she made for me.
Flowers for Mama.
I absolutely love being a Mom.  Yes it's lots of work sometimes, but it is mostly fun and for sure is the most rewarding and fulfilling calling I've ever had!  My mom made growing up so much fun!  She created so many fun times and memories for us.  She still does.  And she raised us with all the love  she has.  I never ever questioned my mom's love for me or mine for her.  She's just the best I tell you.
I can't get enough of her!
This Mother's Day I am thankful to be a mom.  I am so grateful that my Father in Heaven trusted me enough to allow little old me this opportunity.  I especially feel blessed that I get to be the mother of Treagan.  He is such a little stud.  He's so sweet, and I honestly could not ask for more in a son.  I hope and pray every single day that I can raise him in love and righteousness and can teach him to love his Savior.  I hope Kelly and I can teach him together about love, keeping the commandments, and be examples to him.  Anyway, my little heart is just feeling so full of gratitude.
Heaven.
Gratitude that I am a mom.

The first time I held him.
Gratitude that my own Mama is my bestest friend.
Love her.
Gratitude that I have a husband who loves Treagan's mom.
Yes I am pregnant in this picture in case you were too scared to ask me.
Gratitude that I have a great M-I-L.
He definitely scored in the Grandma department.
Gratitude for all that I have been blessed with.
Together Forever.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's who are amazing examples to me!
Going through the temple with sis-in-law and mama -to-be, Penny.
