Baby C...

I got to have another ultrasound today.... Just a little more than 24 weeks along!  Dr. Haskett wanted me to come back in for another look at the baby's spine because at our 20 week ultrasound Colston was breech and wouldn't let them see all of it.  I was totally okay with having another ultrasound!  I could stare at that sweet little guy all day.  Anyway, everything looked great and I just am feeling like this pregnancy is flying.  It's been so nice to have a healthy pregnancy this time and to not be high risk and on moderate bed rest.  It's made a huge difference and I've definitely been much more relaxed this go around.  I'm really just trying to enjoy these last few months of it being just Treagan and Me at home!  I know he and Colston will eventually love each other and be bestest little buddies, but I think it's gonna be hard on Tay at first.  Which, honestly hurts my little heart.  I know tons of babies go through this and that he will be just fine, but I'm still kinda stressed about it and worried for him.  He's just so used to having all of my love and attention and I really think he's gonna have a big adjustment with all of this!  He's the world's biggest mama's boy right now and I'm just praying that he will be a little more well rounded once Colston arrives! If not, this is gonna be one worn out mama!  Not sure how I'm gonna do the first 6 weeks post C-section when Treagan constanly wants to be on top of me and I'm not supposed to lift anything more than the newborn.  Hmmm....  Anyway, I just am having one of those days where I feel so overwhelmingly blessed.  I'm so lucky to have Kelly.  He's an amazing hub and works so hard to give our family everything we need and more! And how blessed am I to be a mom?  It really is the most wonderful thing I've ever done.  Exhausting, yes.  Some days do I wish I didn't have a barnacle attached to my hip?  Yes.  Do I complain endlessly to Kelly about how worn out I am? Yes.  But I really wouldn't change a thing about my sweet family and feel blessed beyond deserving that this is my life.  Anyway, enough of the sap.  Just love my little fam!  That's all.  Thank you Heavenly Father.

Christmas's

This was T on our way to the annual family Christmas party, in PC this year.

We are a very lucky bunch.  Every year we practically get to have 2 Christmas's!  This year it was our year to be with my family for Christmas Eve and Christmas, so we did that.  And then went up to Idaho that next weekend for round two with Kell's side of the fam.  They are so sweet and hold off Christmas until we all get up there!  It's awesome!

So for my family's Christmas we of course started out the evening with a delish din at Tepanyaki.  It's been a tradition forever to go to Beni Hana's, but since we had the two little babies, we thought we'd do something similar that was lots closer to home.  We weren't disappointed, it was so yummy!  Then of course we all went back to my mama's to open our Christmas Eve presents.  Matching jammies as always!  Then we got the babies down and it was party time.  We had a huge "Minute to Win-it" competition and it was HILARIOUS.  I freaking love my family and how competitive we all are.  It makes for some pretty fun game nights.  Then we played a battle of the sexes game after that, got Christmas stuff ready for the babies, and went to bed!  We woke up at about 7, Treagan was not about to sleep in on Christmas morning.  We did our stockings and saw what Santa had brought, then had our traditional scones and egg casserole breakfast, and then spent hours opening presents!  It was seriously so much fun.  I love that my family still does a lot of the traditions we did when we were little.  And I'm so excited to do a lot of them with our own little family.  Treagan was so much fun for Christmas this year, in spite of being sick.  We had a great time and are just so blessed to be in such a wonderful family.

Treagan and I also went over to visit my dad and Debbie on Christmas Eve to exchange presents and say hi.  It was great to see them and we are looking forward to visiting them in Florida in a few weeks!

Then, like I said, that weekend we took off for our Christmas in Ideeho!  We had so much fun up there.  We ate like we'd been starving for weeks, and as always, were very spoiled by The Ideeho Santa.  Kell's parents do so much for us and treat us like we are staying at a hotel when we are there.  It's so nice and relaxing and it was so fun to spend some time with T's cute cousins.  Once again, we are so lucky to be part of this amazing family, and can't wait til we get to see them all again!

So as you can see, we are a very blessed little family.  Thankful for all of the new and fun memories, and are so excited for this upcoming New Year!  We know it's gonna be a good one, especially with the addition of sweet little Colston.  Yay for 2013!  Oh yeah, and when we got home I finally took T to get his first real haircut.  He hated it SO bad, but looks so dang handsome so it was worth it!  Here's the before and after pics. . .
