Easters. . .

I love Easter! It's such a happy time of year. Before I get talking about all the egg dying, basket hunting, and par-tay-ing, I wanna talk about how thankful I am for my Savior, since He is the reason for the whole thing. I've been so blessed to have been born into the gospel, and am so grateful for the faith I have in Christ. I know that He died for ME. Little old me. . . and I am grateful everyday of my life for his atoning sacrifice. Today we went to SL to go to church with my mom. She taught the lesson in RS and at the end they left a little bit of time for testimonies. There was this cute latin sister that got up and bore one of the purest, sweetest testimonies of the Savior I think I've ever heard. She said something like. . . He is my best friend. He is my teacher. He is my doctor. He is my psychiatrist. He is my brother. She said the other day her back was bothering her so she called her chiropractor to see if she could get it put back in alignment. He was out of town. So she said she prayed to her Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ to please fix her back. She said please stretch forth your hand and put it on my back and heal me. And He did. She said I love my Savior. He is my best friend. He is my brother. He is even my chiropractor. I think my cheeks were hurting from smiling through her entire testimony. I probably didn't do a very good job of telling the story, but it was just so sweet and sincere. And it caused me to reflect so much for the rest of today. He really is my best friend. He really is my doctor, my teacher, my brother, my tutor, my everything. How many times have I called upon him when sick or lonely or whatever, and He is there. How grateful I am that He lives! He lives who once was dead. "We laugh, we cry, we work, we play, we love, we live. And then we die-. . . And dead we would remain but for one Man and His mission, even Jesus of Nazareth. . . " It's just amazing that He conquered death for all of us, and because of this, we can all be with our families for ever! HE IS RISEN! And I am so thankful.

So needless to say, it has been a great weekend. The weather could not have been more perfect too, which is always a bonus. We dyed eggs Friday night and then woke up to bunny pancakes. We did a little Easter egg hunt for our cute neighbors, and we gathered some things for Trey's first Easter basket. Then today, we went to church with my fam and then did Trey's first Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun! He and Cannon were cruising around the backyard looking for their baskets. They each had baskets from mommy and daddy and also one from Grammy. They are so spoiled! And then of course (since the Lauro kids can't seem to ever grow up), after the babies found their stuff and had new toys to occupy them, we had OUR Easter egg hunt. Ha ha I love that my mom still does fun stuff like this for us. It's even more fun now than it was back in the day cuz now the little plastic eggs are filled with all sorts of $$$, instead of candy. Then, as if the Easter egg hunt wasn't juvenile enough, we ran over to the school behind my mom's house and had recess. We played four square and poison and we HAD A BLAST! I love chillin with my siblings. Then we went back to my mama's for a delish dinner. She does so much for our fam! It was just a great day, and I am just feelin so blessed right now. Yayyyyy for it being Spring and for everything that comes with it, minus the allergies! Happy Easter everyone!

I'm in love. . .

The other morning I woke up and this is the first thing my sleepy eyes saw-

Is that not reason to be in love?  I am so lucky.  My cute husbee is so thoughtful.  He packed up the baby this past cold Saturday morning to walk over to Macey's to get Mommy breakfast.  It just melts my heart to see these two together!  Words can't even tell you how much I love my boys, and how grateful I am that they are mine!
We were due for some celebrating, so the boys took me to The Riverwoods for some din.
Celebrating at Macaroni Grill. . . He's got the Lauro Italian blood- He LOVES spaghetti!
Trey's favorite ride.
Just chillin
Mommy, can we go visit Daddy at work?
Waiting in the parking lot for Dad to come out
I love these cute boys!
Another thing I'm in love with is, well two things:  The new City Creek Mall and my mama.  She took Trey and I there last week to see it and we had so much fun, as always!  The place is amazing and I already can't wait to go back.
Isn't my Mama the cutest?
Trey picked out his own toy from Grammy for Easter!
Oh this little monkey is just bringing Kelly and I so much joy! He changes so much with each passing day, I just wish there was something I could do to slow him down!  He has gone from scooting to crawling to cruising to almost walking and to being able to get up the stairs all in the last two weeks.  Little mad man!
His constant wrinkled nose kills me
Costco samples!
He loves anything that he can climb on!

Look Who's 8 Months Old!

8 months!  18 lbs. 4 oz.
Not sure how it's happened, but it has!  Treagan is 8 months old today!  This kid has changed so much in the last month, it's just crazy.  He is full on mobile now!  We are in trouble.  He crawls like a champ, although he doesn't love it.  He'd much rather walk, which is weird. . . and he almost is!  He loves his new found freedom and is so proud of himself, it's adorable.  He is the happiest baby in the world these days, which makes everyday so fun!  He rarely ever fusses, unless he has a legit reason to. . . Like when he's bored, stinky, hungry, or has just bonked his head AGAIN.   Also new this month is his love for food!  Yay!  I knew he'd get there, I mean he had no other choice but to love food- look at his parents!  He used to just tolerate eating anything but milk, but now he totally loves it.  He loves meal time, and is packin on the lb's because of it!  He's eating just about anything a little gummer could eat, and has almost mastered the pincer grasp.  His faves of the big boy foods are greek yogurt, scrambled eggs, french toast, cottage cheese, sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes, and soggy graham crackers.  I haven't posted pics in a little while so this is going to be a total overload  (Sorry).  I just can't help but wanna show off our sweet boy to all the world!  Thanks for making the last 8 months our happiest Baby Trey!
He loves to find the baby in the fireplace.
I don't let him feed himself very often because I love the cuddle time, but he loves to feel big sometimes.
One for me, one for you.  He always shares his puffs with Holly.
He loves to climb in Holly's toy basket and steal her toys.
Someday they are going to kill me for this, but I couldn't resist!  Cutest little bums ever!
Tubby time with the cuz.
