I Guess Today You Can Call Me Eeyore...

Well we had our appointment today. I really do love seeing what Treagan is doing in there. I mean I get to feel it all day, but actually seeing it just somehow melts my heart. He's a funny little man. He was spread eagle the entire ultrasound. The u/s tech just kept laughing at what he was doing. He had one hand in his mouth, sucking his thumb.. SO ADORABLE. And then the other hand... all five fingers wrapped tightly around his little boy part! Ha SO funny. She kept taking pictures and we all laughed about how he is pure boy already. We love him.
Now, that was the good news. Trey is happy and well, and perfect. SO thankful. But we did get some bad news too. The partial placenta previa that I had has now turned to complete previa. We were all hoping and praying that it would correct itself, and were actually pretty hopeful because our Doctor had told us that most cases do fix themselves. However, I'm one of the lucky 2 percent that is stuck with it. Awesome. I know, I know.. it could be worse. That's why I really am trying to keep positive and not be such a downer about it. I mean, we are really blessed. But still I have to admit it's got me bummed out today. How fitting that it's raining outside. Anyway, luckily they said they'll allow me to continue on just moderate bedrest for now. Just got to be very careful. No sudden movements, and no exertion. Which means still no exercising, and gosh that just makes me seriously sad. I really love to be able to be active so I guess that's the hardest part. The other part that's got me down was hearing my doctor tell me that we will go C-Section. I dunno why, but that gives me major anxiety! I need someone who's had a great experience with a C-section to tell me how awesome it is. I'm super nervous about that. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little bummed that I don't even get to experience going into labor. Sounds dumb I'm sure.. Who wants to experience labor? I did though. I guess I just always pictured it that way so being told it's gonna be different, and proably done sooner than planned just kinda stresses me out. Anyway, I'm just a little sad today. Didn't get the news I'd tried so hard to have faith for. For now we will continue to pray that Trey keeps cooking. I want to keep him in there as long as possible! Sweet boy. Anyway, just needed to get a little ventage out of my little hurting heart. Still so grateful for this whole experience and that I get to be Treagan's mama. I can't wait.

HALFWAY ALREADY!?

Oh my gosh. I can't believe Baby Trey is half-baked. It's just craziness, the time is f-l-y-i-n-g. Well today we had our 20 week appointment/ultrasound. I LOVE THESE DR APPOINTMENTS. Anyway, we were a little anxious about it just cuz you can't help but worry about things... But also because we had a little scare a few weeks ago with the baby and ended up finding out I had placenta previa. Luckily everything with baby was okay, actually things were great! They reconfirmed that he was 100% boy, and all of his measurements were perfect. I sort of stopped listening at that point, but they started saying things that made it clear they were more worried about the mom. They said to try not to get too worked up for now and that we'd hopefully get to the bottom of it at our next apt with Dr. Haskett. Hmm... so of course we've worried. Of course we went straight home and googled 'placenta previa' and read all of the horror stories. Then we decided to just keep hopeful and positive that it would correct itself. Because if not, it was gonna be BEDREST for me for the next 20 weeks. Pretty sure me and bedrest would NOT get along. I've been on "moderate bedrest" for the last 3 weeks, and even that was buggin. So ANYWAY, on with the HAPPY NEWS: We got to spend like 30 minutes spying on Treagan today. He was being such a good boy. He measured only a few days ahead, and his heart was just a beatin at 167 bpm. He let us see in all the right places. He was moving around like crazy. He definitely loves to have his hands up by his face, and his little legs were crossed for most of the apt. SO.DANG.CUTE. His little profile is my fave. The best part is they gave us a DVD of it and a bunch of pics! We'll post a few of those pics... As for the placenta previa. Dang it, it's still there. But Dr. Haskett seemed to be pretty hopeful that it's going to correct itself. Good news is we get to have an ultrasound every 4 weeks to check on it. The other good news is it's only covering it by 2 cm so I don't have to be on complete bedrest just yet. Just moderate. So still no exercise for me-bummer. But that's okay. We're just so happy and grateful that all was well with our sweet little baby! OH WHAT A GOOD DAY! WE LOVE YOU BABY TREY!!!

Yup, it's a BOY!!!

Oopsy, this one is upside-down. But this is where you can see his little legs crossed.

And my fave... His profile. Such a little stud-muffin already!

Just a little update...

So we found out this week that IT'S A BOY!!! We couldn't be more excited, especially daddy. Ahhh they are going to be the cutest pair ever. I just can't wait to see them together! I gotta say I'm super excited to meet my little man too. We love him so much already! So yeah, we had our 16 week apt, and our Dr was looking around in there, talking all about how perfectly healthy things were looking. Then he announced the heartbeat at 150 bpm. Went way down from last apt. So then of course Kelly gets really excited and says out loud, "That's my boy..." Then I hear Dr. Haskett mumble something like, "Umm yeah you might be right!" Then he starts focusing in on the little guy who was just showin off what he's got and it was confirmed. "There's one leg, there's another, and that third thing in the middle isn't a third leg!!" Hahaha. WHAT!!? I was completly in shock, still am to be completely honest. I wasn't expecting to find out so soon, but I guess our little Trey was proud to show his mommy and daddy that it really was him. Wow, this is such a fun time! I can't even describe all the feelings I am feeling. Just feel so lucky to be able to be the mom and to get to be the safe little home for Treagan's first 9 months. It's just an amazing feeling. Anyway, here's what our Treagan O Behunin has us experiencing here in the Behunin household:

Me:
-Trying to make it through the night without having to get up to eat, or use the potty, or both.
-Eating lots of cereal, sour things, eggs, and well really just about anything.. that gets there fast.
-Praying for snow shacks to please open soon.
-Still trying to keep life at home as close to the same as possible, maybe not quite as many home cooked meals, but trying not to let my little family starve.
-Definitely growing! Gaining weight like a champ :)
-Little bit less tired, and definitely less nauseous. Feel great actually!
-Looking forward to our 20 wk apt on March 24th to make sure they are absolutely sure it's our little baby Trey, and to reaffirm my worry wart self that all is well.

The Daddy:
-Giving lots of backrubs already.
-He is the DISH KING these days, I love him for it. I dont' think I've done the dishes in several weeks. He jumps up after dinner and does them while I take a bath. So sweet.
-Being patient while I wake us all up several times a night to go to the bathroom.
-Working out tons, getting hot and buff, while I move in the opposite direction.
-Listening to all my ideas about baby stuff and is an awesome sport! I am actually starting to wonder if he spends as much time as I do looking at all the cute baby stuff out there.
-Now that we know what 'it' is, I think it's seeming more real to him and he's starting to talk to my belly and give all sorts of hugs and kisses. Cuuuute.
-Still being the best dad ever to Holly Jo.

Holly Jo:
-Every time we ask her if she's excited to be a big sister and mention Treagan she wags her tail.
-Gaining weight at about the same rapid pace as her mama. We were told she was supposed to be about 5 pounds full grown and she's well over 8! Thata girl.
-Gets up with me in the night when I go downstairs to have my cereal. I think she's totally liking it.
-Cuddles up with mama in bed when I'm tired or not feeling awesome.

Baby Trey:
-16 weeks old this week! According to Baby Center, he's the size of an apple.
-Still not letting his mommy feel his kicks, but moving around like crazy.
-Not measuring AS big as he was at the other appointments, thank you Trey, now I can relax a little.
-Proud to show the goods at our apt. We're so excited to have a BOY!

The best Christmas present EVER...

Does that REALLY show two lines???

I've just got a great feeling about 2011 already! I think it's gonna be an awesome year for the Behunin crew. So I'm pretty sure I got the absolute BEST Christmas present ever this year. Yes babe, I love the Jeep you got me. It's so sweet! I feel pretty cool cruisin in it. Crazy to say it, but the Jeep wasn't my most exciting present... A couple weeks before Christmas we found out that Baby Behunin is on the way! We couldn't be more excited! We just had our 12 week apt and everything was perfect. Whew! It's such a miracle. As soon as the baby popped up on the screen it was just kicking up a storm. My doctor actually even said something like, "Wow they aren't usually quite this active this early on, you guys are going to have your hands full!" Hahaha. It was amazing. And the little heart was beating like crazy at 175 beats per minute. Hearing it definitely made our hearts beat a little faster. Wow it was such a great day today. Just so thankful that all was well. Due date is AUGUST 18TH! We're moving right along, just entering the 2nd trimester. I feel like I've been blessed so far, havn't been TOO sick. I just feel nauseous and starving and tired ALL THE TIME, but no throwing up which is SO lucky cuz I HAAAATE IT. Here's a couple pics of our new babies... So happyyy.

Welp, there it is.... I mean he or she??? Kelly is just sure it's a boy. Me? I dunno I can kinda picture both, and am excited for either. We'll see soon! Can't wait for that apt.

And my other baby... Just beautiful :)

Thanks so much Kelly O... for BOTH my babies! You are the best hubs in the world.

Thankful...

"A grateful heart... comes through expressing gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His blessings, and to those around us for all that they bring into our lives..."

-President Thomas S. Monson

I LOOOOVE this time of year... I love the feeling in the air with the holidays just around the corner. I especially love how it helps me to slow down from the craziness of life and really think about all that I have to be thankful for. Last year one of my new year's resolutions was to keep a gratitude journal and write down just one thing every single day that I was grateful for. I think I made it to like January 30th. Shoot. But I loved the 30 days I actually did do it, cuz I really spent tons more time focusing on all the good in my life instead of wasting energy on the things that can get me down. Anyway, first and foremost this year, I am thankful for KELLY O BEHUNIN. Love my man. Seriously, how lucky am I to spend every day with him? I'm thankful for my MAMA. Honestly, she's the best person I've ever known. I wouldn't smile near as much if it weren't for her. I'm thankful for my whole FAMILY. Both my families. I love the Lauros and I love the Behunins. Both bring such happiness and fun times to my life. Thankful for HOLLY JO. She makes me laugh every single day. Thankful for FRIENDS. Both old and new. Could not do life without you. I'm thankful for the GOSPEL. The peace and joy I recieve from it everyday keeps me going. I'm thankful for my JOB. I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love every single day. I'm thankful for our HOUSE. We're so fortunate to live in such a wonderful place. Anyway.. I really have such a great life. I'm such a blessed girl in SO many ways. I hope I can be better at counting my MANY blessings on a daily basis! Happy Thanksgiving! We're off to Idaho to be with the rest of the Behunin Bunch for the weekend! WOOT WOOT!

Holly Jo.. Hollypeno... Biggie... Hollister... Bug-a-boo... Biggs... Bug... Monkey... CUTEST PUPPY IN THE WORLD!!!

Holly and her "steakie"... She loves this little T-bone Grandpa B gave her a while back. She won't go anywhere without it. Eats, sleeps, uses the bathroom with it, etc.

Oh... we are just having so much fun with our crazy little dog. She just gets bigger, crazier, and more loved with each passing day. We could not have asked for a more perfect puppy for us. It's fun to see Kelly be a daddy to her. I just can't wait to see the kind of dad he is to our actual babies! Here's some pics of her as she's grown over the past 9 months. We love her!

She was finally ours! This is us taking her home the very first day!

It didn't take Holly long to find a friend her own size at home.

A friend gave us this little sweater and we just could not take her seriously when she'd wear it! Haha we just laugh when we look at this pic... Love that fluff ball of a head.

Holly used to always have her tongue sticking out. Cracked us up!

Yes her entire head used to be the size of a tennis ball, so tiny!

She didn't love her kennel. Puppies chew on anything and EVERYTHING!

This is a typical Sunday at the Behunin home. I love those two so much!

When she was learning to go potty outside she'd sneak under our bed and lay poops for us to find later. She used to be embarassed to let anyone see her do her business so she thought she was so smart to do it where we couldn't find it. Took us a few weeks to figure out where that smell in our bedroom was coming from! Thank you Holly for finally figuring out the correct place to lay your marbles.

Holly got a little worn out on one of our hikes this summer so Daddy carried her :)

Love that face!!!

The girls

Holly's first experience on our boat! She's a Behunin girl. She LOVED boating!

What a proud Papa!

The Princess, the Punk, and Snooki

Yes I won the Jello shots game... Why am I so competitive?
Just eatin din at the party...
Holly is so hardcore
The Behunin Bunch... Punk style
This year, we went over to the Fuller's for a Halloween party. It was a BLAST! Punks, Snooki and The Situation, A Knight, Princess, and Dragon, Tiger Woods and his mistress, a hunter and his deer, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the Lion etc, etc, etc. Way fun!

Grandpa and Grandma B

This was us for Halloween last year...Oh I LOVE dressing up. Kelly wasn't so sure about it, but I think he's caught on real quick. You marry me, and you dress up for Halloween. Simple as that :) He's such a good sport. And let's be honest... He's such a HOT grandpa! I've got so much to look forward to.
