The Third Trimester

Getting BIGGER!!!

28 weeks:
I know, I know... An ultrasound is an ultrasound. But for some reason when it's your little one it's just so precious! I think he's so cute...

Sucking his little thumb

4d mode.. Kinda crazy!

Seriously? How has this come so fast??? I can't believe we're already on the home stretch of this pregnancy. Things at our last appointment went pretty well. I'm not gonna lie- I think I might have gone in hoping (maybe even expecting) some sort of miracle. I thought almost for sure that Dr. Haskett was going to tell me that the previa was gone. Nope. But hey, at least he did say it's moved a little tiny bit! And I guess I should be grateful for that, because at our apt before this one he told us he'd never seen a placenta previa this complete move out of the way in time for delivery... He basically gave us no hope. But he said there's a slight chance now. Better than nothing. Also good news, still just on moderate bed rest. Or is that good news? At least I'm still not on full bed rest just yet. He said things in there really did look great though. Baby Trey now weighs almost 2 and 1/2 pounds, almost the size of a butternut squash! He definitely feels like he's bigger than that though. I've been starting to get super uncomfortable the last couple of weeks though. I'm thinking the next 12 weeks might not fly by as fast as the first 28 did. So far I'd say my biggest complaints are the never ending potty trips and the aching back slash tail bone. And aren't I supposed to be getting as much sleep as I can right now? I really have LOVED every second of being prego. Okay maybe the first few weeks were a little rough with the nausea, but I think I've been pretty lucky. But now I feel like I'm starting to understand why they say housing a baby isn't an easy job though. Anyway, we're so excited to get our little man here. Although we really do hope he'll wait til at least the beginning of August! In the last couple weeks we've got his nursery painted and the crib (from G-pa and G-ma Behunin) put up. It's so fun! I'm sure I'll post some pics of his little room once we get it more organized. Now we're off to good ol Idaho Falls to do some fishin with the Behunin crew for Memorial Day. SO FUN!

Work Shmwork

I really do love my job. I'm feeling so so grateful that Kelly's hard work has given me the opportunity to be a stay at home mama when the time comes... That afterall, is the job I've always wanted. But I'm not gonna lie, I really do think I'll miss my job. I don't think tons of people can say that. I love the people I work for and with, and above all I love what I do. I've always been obsessed with babies and kids, so being with them all day and helping them feel better is really a dream. Obviously, I don't always have the best attitude about going to work because no matter what you do.. work is work. But today I'm just feeling grateful that I have a job, that I'm able to work through my pregnancy so far, and that I love it.
Plus, working with kids really can be absolutely hilarious. The other day I was checking in a little kindergarten age girl. I was doing her vision screen and she was doing a great job. Then all of a sudden she started squinting her cute little eyes and saying "Umm... Ummm.." So I said, "If you can't see them, it's okay. Just tell me they are too small." THEN SHE SAYS, "Well, ummm.. your tummy is kinda in the way." HA!!! MY BAD. Gotta love kids. So much. Can't wait to have one of my own. Don't worry.. when I went back in the room to do her shots she had drawn me a picture AND told me I'm almost as pretty as Cinderella. Almost. Thank you dear. Welp, I'm sure you'll hear from me again soon. We have another dr apt/ultrasound tomorrow. Please bless that all is well...

Matchin Jams...

I've discovered there really is only so much baby material reading, Facebook page viewing, and blog stalking I can do while on this whole moderate bed rest thing... Tonight while I was parked on the couch relaxin like a good girl, I started looking through some old pics on our computer. HA!!! I came across this one from 2 Christmases ago. How cool are we that we STILL get matching jams for Christmas Eve??? Hahaha I love it. I seriously love my fam and all of our traditions. I'm so excited that Kell Face and I are starting our own little crew and that we'll get to have traditions of our own!

With Child..

So I feel a little shy about posting belly pics. Long distant friends keep asking, but I kinda didn't think I wanted to take any. Anyway, I finally got over it cuz yes you are all right. I will want to remember this freaking amazing time in my life! And I feel like this tum grows and changes everyday. So I am gonna try and take one every 4ish weeks or so til our little man gets here. It's coming SO SO fast!
